Excellent, was hoping you could both make it. I've added Dave Imrie to the list as he would like to come along.
Justin is his usual, would like to come but will probably be called away due to work commitments - should be a full house on the day 8)

Dunfermline Wargames Club presents

"Cruinneachadh" on Sunday 26th August at the Rosyth Civil Service Club from 11 am until 6.30 pm.

This one day event for Impetus will be for gamers using 28mm armies at 300 points with the standard Impetus 28mm tournament rules applying, which can be found here: http://www.dadiepiombo.com/tr2012.pdf

The timetable for the days gaming will be as below

Game 1: 11 am - 1 pm
Lunch 1 - 2 pm
Game 2: 2 - 4 pm
Game 3: 4 - 6 pm

As previously mentioned the venue is the very pleasant, Rosyth Civil Service Club on Castle Road, Rosyth, KY11 2HU

Directions available : http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&cp= ... a=N&tab=wl

Please note that the club venue is just after the roundabout shown on the map at the start of Castle Road.

The Civil Service Club is fully licensed and offers food at very reasonable rates. For those players who are interested lunch can be ordered on arrival and each individual will be responsible for paying for the own lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided during the games. Please remember entry to the tournament is free.

This event is on at the same time as Dunfermline Wargames Club has one of its monthly meetings, so you may expect some questions and interested parties from outwith the tournament. I am sure there will be plenty of common ground to talk around.

As with all Impetus events this is about promoting an excellent set of rules, having fun and enjoying the day's gaming in a relaxed environment.

Army lists to be submitted by Saturday August 18th to my self at:

roma912 at gmail dot com

Please provide your full name and address with your army list to help with signing all players into the Civil Service Club.

The day's gaming is limited to 12 places and if possible we will play within groups of 4 within period. If there are insufficient numbers the games will be determined on the day. Terrain will be provided and will be fixed for each table.

Really looking forward to this bash, Ross - happy to help in any way needed.
Can I ask any players listed who will NOT be able to make it for the Dunfermline bash to let Roma or I know fairly quickly, as the game is already fully booked (only 12 spaces) and there are others who would like to join us if there are spaces available.
As far as I can tell current situation is
1. Mike Dodds confirmed
2. Richard Coates confirmed
3. Ross Manning organiser (better be confirmed  )
4. Dave Imrie confirmed
5. Dax Robertson confirmed
6. Justin?
7. Dave Burns
8. Chuck
9. Pete
10. Dave Knight confirmed
11. Doug confirmed
12. Jim?

All the best

Hi all,

Another name to add to the list - Frazer Watson - could everybody please confirm their attendance or not so the numbers can be finalised?

Thanks very much. :D

Another interested party Russ Gibb - if everybody could please confirm their attendance then I can confirm that both Frazer and Russ can enter the tournament.

Thanks again, :D

I have been told that I may well be on holiday on the 26th - something to do with being married (to the same person) for 30 years.

Nothing finalised as yet but my status moves from confimed to possible so if someone like Frazer is a definite then you can put him in my slot

Regards

Dave

Hi Ross, we can take Justin off the list as he is only a possible, and unlikely to attend - he might come over in the afternoon to see how things are going.
Chuck mentioned last week that he was wanting to come so I'd keep his place unless he posts otherwise.
Haven't seen Pete, but I am sure he will make it if he can,
Not sure about Jim but, again, sure he'll make it if he can.
Probably leaves us about here
1. Mike Dodds confirmed
2. Richard Coates confirmed
3. Ross Manning *organiser* confirmed
4. Dave Imrie confirmed
5. Dax Robertson confirmed
6. Doug confirmed
7. Dave Burns confirmed
8. Chuck confirmed/highly likely
9. Pete highly likely
10. Jim likely
11. Frazer Watson confirmed
12. Russ Gibb confirmed

Reserve Dave Knight confirmed

Talk about a popular event :D

Gents,

Just a quick reminder that army lists to be posted to myself at the email address below:

roma912 at gmail dot com

The lists to be in for the end of Saturday 18th August and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Can you also include your full name and address for signing into the CSSC at Rosyth, as it will be easier to be done in advance.

If you have any queries please let me know.
