Well, nice of Foundry to wait until poor old Terry had died before they put out his rules they've been sitting on for, oh, nearly 5 years.

160-odd pages, hardback, yeah, yeah, usual fluff.

If you find it cheaper anywhere else let me know. The Foundry price has the advantage of being post free.

Hi all.

Just a wee query.

Are these rules just a revamp of the Medieval Warfare rules that several at the club have played with various card counters for advance, hold orders etc?
What do you mean, all my figures are just undercoated? I just like white paint schemes.

It's the games workshop syndrome, the inventors of shiney rule books with lots of "piccies" and diagrams. A definate marketing ploy to fool those who are taken in by all those nice diagrams, pictures and how to paint your figures sections. While the rules are exactly the same.

Mine are in the post

all I need now is an army or two to use.

it has to be shiney armoured knights they are easy to paint
any suggestions for my army from the forum.
prizes for the best idea and funniest idea (that does not mean my painting)

We will wait till you get the book and see if there is any changes to the army list
French all dry brushed silver or Teutonic Orders all white with some black crosses would be the quickest

Had a look at both versions and in gereral it the same.
Shooting ranges for long range is the only changed on the fast play sheet.
There is probley more minor changes but It will take longer to find them.
so you are spending a tener(old 14.99p and new 25.00p) extra for the hard back copy with coloured pictures an coloured counters, but it is nice.
Looking for it on offer I think is the best way,
Caliver books 24.50p + P&P, Amazon is 16.98p + 2.75p P&P
And you still have to buy the two lists 18.99p each  but I still have the old lists on Disk. :)
