Canadian forces 1942-1943

Hi,

Looking for a bit of info, Ive had a quick look on the net for vehicles used by Canadian and New Zealand forces in WW2 but most of the info is for 1944-1945.

Would it be fair to say that most or all vehicles/tanks are closely based on British 8th army/British forces with-in Asia?
